tronchi scavati.

Un volume monolitico, essenziale,

che reinterpreta il gesto primario

dello scavare in un linguaggio

contemporaneo, trasformando l’ori-

gine dell’acqua in elemento archi-

tettonico. Nasce da un ricord

o

legato ai paesaggi alpini, dove grand

i

tronchi venivano lavorati a mano per

diventare fontane e abbeveratoi al

servizio della comunità.

Ho reinterpretato quell’archetip

con un linguaggio contemporaneo

un volume allungato e compatto

scavato longitudinalmente, co

estremità piene e un bacino

continuo che guida l’acqua con

semplicità e precisione. Il corpo,

sollevato da una base solida, evoca

le strutture di sostegno di quelle

fontane tradizionali e rafforza

così la percezione di un oggetto

monolitico. È un progetto che unisc

volume that reinterprets the pri

mal act of carving in a contemporary

language, transforming the origin of wate

r

into an architectural element. It stems from a

memory linked to Alpine landscapes, where

large trunks were handcrafted to becom

e

fountains and troughs serving the community.

I reinterpreted that archetype through a

contemporary language: an elongated and

compact volume, carved longitudinally, wit

h

solid ends and a continuous basin that guide

s

water with simplicity and precision. The body

,

raised on a solid base, evokes the supportin

g

structures of those traditional fountains and re-

inforces the perception of a monolithic object.It

is a project that brings together landscape and

architec-ture, memory and contemporaneity

,

reintroducing into the bathroom environmen

t

the idea of the spring as origin and presence”.
