Valdama

+

Valdama+ è il nuovo percorso di ricerca e sperimentazione che

affianca il catalogo principale dell'azienda.

Pensato come laboratorio aperto e piattaforma di innovazione

,

Valdama+ debutta al Salone del Bagno 2026 e nasce per

accogliere progetti speciali: collaborazioni con designer, speri-

mentazioni su forme, materiali e funzioni. All’interno di questo

percorso prende avvio Innesti d'Autore, un programma che

invita autori a confrontarsi ogni volta con un tema specifico,

ampliando la visione progettuale e culturale del mondo wellness

.

Il primo capitolo di questo programma si traduce nella Capsule

Collection “Lavamani”.

Accompagnato storicamente dalla ritualità simbolica di puri

-

ficazione del lavaggio delle mani, il lavamani è stato per secoli

anche un oggetto da esterno significativo collocato negli spazi

pubblici dove ha assunto nel tempo per lo più la declinazione,

in forme espressive diverse, di ‘fontana da parete’, oggi sempre

meno presente nelle nostre città. Imparentato, anche, e no

n

troppo da lontano, con le accoglienti strutture self standing dell

e

acquasantiere delle chiese, anche se rituale e liturgia sono in que

l

caso altri e profondamente diversi.

Cos’è il lavamani oggi? È un oggetto che porta con sé storia

,

simbologia e ritualità, un lavabo di dimensioni sobrie e contenute

,

collocabile ovunque, non solo nell’ambiente bagno

.

Conceived as both an open laboratory and a platform for innovation,

Valdama+ makes its debut at Salone del Bagno 2026 and i

designers to engage each time with a specific theme, expanding

the creative and cultural perspective of the wellness world

The first chapter of this program is expressed through the

Capsule Collection “Lavamani”.

Historically associated with the symbolic ritual of hand purification

,

the washbasin has for centuries also been a significant outdoor

element, placed in public spaces where it often took the form -

through different expressive languages - of a “wall fountain,” now

increasingly rare in our cities.

It is also, in a way, distantly related to the welcoming, freestandin

g

structures of church holy water fonts, although the rituals and

liturgies they serve are, in that case, entirely different.

What is the small hand basin today? It is an object that carrie

history, symbolism, and ritual - a compact and understated piec

e

that can be placed anywhere, not only in the bathroom.
