INTERSEZIONE

Forme sinuose, morbide, panciute, con le ombre e i riflessi che grazie alle curve sfumano delicatamente una sull’altra,

forme cariche di memoria di antichi rubinetti stondati e novecenteschi, dall’immagine grassa ed “idraulica” e forme secche,

poliedriche, dagli angoli spigolosi, precisi e “taglienti” superfici nitide, pulite, geometriche e meccaniche, astrazioni ed

esagerazioni di tendenze contemporanee e minimali. Questa collezione di rubinetti addiziona, assomma, interseca questi due

mondi in modo quasi ironico e paradossale, definendosi in un rapporto quasi inconciliabile senza mediazione o passaggi,

ma semplicemente matematico, uno più uno. Questa somma di geometrie così lontane, la panciuta, a vaso, sinuosa e la

prismatica, dura e tagliente, generano riflessi inediti ed insospettate visioni d’insieme per un rubinetto che sembra essere

per certi versi somma e riassunto stesso delle storie dei rubinetti dalle formose rotondità otto - novecentesche e l’assolutezza

geometrica di oggi. Può sembrare esagerato il classicismo sfrenato in auge in alcuni paesi esteri, ma se è ciò che viene

richiesto ben venga l’interpretazione della sala da bagno secondo questi canoni, che tradurranno in estetica classica un

prodotto di tecnologia evoluta attenta ai consumi dell’acqua. “Sono decisamente votato al superamento di quello che è

il canone ottocentesco dello stile, e questa serie di rubinetteria, come il nome stesso, aiuterà a rendere giustizia a quella

contaminazione tra antico e moderno che traduce il gioco sapiente dell’INTERSEZIONE tra due culture, solo apparentemente

in contrasto”.

Sinuous, softly, paunchy forms with shadows and reflections that thanks to the curves gently blended one into another, forms

charged of memory of old and rounded twentieth century taps, with fat and “hydraulic” images and dry forms, versatile,

with corners sharp, precise and “sharp” surface clear, clean, geometric and mechanical, abstractions and exaggerations

of contemporary and minimal trends. This collection of taps adds, amounts, intersect these two worlds in an ironic and

paradoxical way, defining in a irreconcilable relations without mediation or steps but just mathematically, one plus one. This

sum of geometry so far, the paunchy, a vase, sinuous and the prismatic, hard and sharp, creates unusual and unexpected

reflections total overviews for a taps that seems to be in some ways the sum and summary of the stories of eight-twentieth

century curvy roundness taps and the absolute geometrical of today. The extreme classicism in vogue in some foreign countries

may seem exaggerated, but if that is what is in demand, the interpretation of the bathroom according to these principles is
